Fire Fighter Hand Print
Materials:
- Red poster paint
- Blue glitter glue
- Orange kokie
- Brown kokie
- Black kokie
- Red kokie
- White cardboard paper
Paper Plate Clown
Age Group: 4 years (with help) to 8 years
Estimated Time: Under 30 minutes
Messiness: Low
Materials:
- Paper plate
- White cardboard paper
- Coloured cardboard paper
- 2 pom-poms
- Crayons
- Kokies
- White craft glue
- Scissors
Method:
- Cut out a long triangular shape from the white cardboard and colour it in with different coloured crayons to make the clown's hat.
- Trace your child's hands on the coloured cardboard and cut them out to create the clown's hair.
- With a black kokie, draw on the clown's eyes.
- With two different coloured kokies, draw rectangles around the eyes.
- With a pink kokie, draw circles for cheeks and with a red kokie, draw a mouth.
- Use craft glue to stick the hand prints to the back of the paper plate and the hat onto the front of the paper plate.
- Use craft glue to stick a pom-pom on the top of the hat and another pom-pom for a nose.

Materials:
- Paper plate
- White cardboard paper
- Green cardboard paper
- Black kokie
- White craft glue
- Scissors
- Green paint
Method:
- Paint the paper plate green and put aside to dry.
- Whilst the plate dries, trace your child's hands onto the green cardboard paper and cut them out.
- Cut out two long oval shaped eyes.
- With the black kokie, draw smaller half ovals near the bottom of the eyes and colour them in for the pupils.
- Once the plate has dried, use craft glue to stick the hands and eyes to the back of the plate.
- Draw in a mouth and nostrils with the black kokie.

Materials:
- Paper plate
- Green poster paint
- Pink poster paint
- Black poster paint
- 2 A4 pieces of white cardboard paper
- White craft glue
- Scissors
Method:
- Paint the underside of the paper plate green.
- Paint your child's hands green and place them on one of the white pieces of card.
- Cut out a strip from the other piece of white card and paint it pink.
- Let everything dry.
- Once the handprints have dried, cut them out.
- Use craft glue to stick them to the back of the paper plate as legs.
- Glue both sides of the pink strip together to create a circle and use the craft glue to stick it to the middle of the plate.
- From the left over white card, cut out 2 circles for eyes.
- Paint the middle of the eyes with black poster paint and let them dry.
- Once dried, use craft glue to stick them to the top of the paper plate.
- You now have a frog!!

Toucan
Materials:
- Paper plate
- 2 A4 pieces of black cardboard paper
- Black poster paint
- Green poster paint
- Red poster paint
- Scissors
- White craft glue
- Googly eye
- Brown cardboard paper
- Red tissue paper
- Yellow tissue paper
Method:
- Cut the paper plate in half.
- Paint the front side of the one paper plate half black.
- Paint the under side of the other paper plate half mostly green, with the tip being red.
- Whilst drying, trace your hand onto the black card. Your fingers must be together, not spread apart.
- Cut out.
- Cut out the body from the other piece of black card. (See picture)
- From the brown card, cut out 2 feet.
- Tear up the red and yellow tissue paper and roll into balls.
- Use the craft glue to stick the googly eye onto the body.
- Once the plates have dried, use craft glue to stick them onto the body where they are meant to go. (See picture)
- Use craft glue to stick most of the red tissue paper balls in a row above the feet.
- Stick the yellow tissue paper balls around the eye and down the side of the beak.
- Stick a few red balls onto the edge of the yellow balls.

Bonfire Hand Print

Materials:
- Red poster paint
- Yellow poster paint
- White cardboard paper
- Brown poster paint
- Paintbrush
- Hand!!
Method:
- Paint the hand red on the palm and yellow on the fingers.
- Blend the two colours in the middle where they meet to create a blended look.
- Place the child's hand onto the card.
- Under the hand print, use the brown paint to paint a cross to mimic wood.

Paper Plate Spider Web

Materials:
- Paper plate
- Brightly coloured poster paint
- Black poster paint
- Hole punch
- String
- Cellotape
- 2 googly eyes (optional)
- White craft glue (if using googly eyes)
Method:
- Paint the paper plate in the brightly coloured paint and let dry.
- Once dried, paint a child's hands black with the black poster paint and make a spider (see image)
- Use the craft glue to stick 2 googly eyes onto the spider (optional)
- Once that has dried, punch holes on the edge of the paper plate.
- Thread string through the holes to mimic a spider web.
- Use the cellotape to secure the ends of the string to the back of the paper plate.

Hand Print Crab
Age Group: 2 years (with help) to 6 years
Estimated Time: Under 15 minutes

Materials:
- Blue paper
- Orange paper
- Red paper
- Scissors
- Pritt glue
- Black kokie
Method:
- Trace both your child's hands on the red paper and cut them out.
- Cut out a wavy pattern about a third from the bottom of the orange paper.
- Stick the orange cut-out onto the bottom of the blue paper with Pritt glue to mimic sand.
- Glue the red hand cut-outs onto the blue/orange page. Slightly overlap the one hand onto the other so that they are joined.
- Draw black dots in the thumbs as eyes and draw on a mouth.

Glitter Fish
Age Group: Under 2 years to 5 years
Estimated Time: Under 15 minutes

Materials:
- Glitter
- Small beads
- White craft glue
- 1 piece of coloured cardboard paper
- Kokies or crayons
- Ice-cream stick
- Scissors
- A little hand!!
Method:
- Trace your child's hand onto the coloured card and cut it out.
- Decorate the cut-out with kokies or crayons.
- Once finished, apply a thin layer of white craft glue all over the decorated side of the fish.
- Sprinkle the little beads and glitter onto the glue.
- Use craft glue to stick an ice-cream stick onto the back of the fish.

Paper Plate Farm Animals
This was a huge hit with my 3 year old Serbian boy I teach twice a week when we were doing our farm animal theme.

- Paper plate
- Pink paint
- White paint
- Black paint
- Small piece of white cardboard paper
- Green cardboard paper
- Ice-cream stick
- White craft glue
- 2 googly eyes

- Bostik
Method:
- Mix some white paint with the pink paint to make a light pink.
- Paint the paper plate as well as the small piece of cardboard paper with this light pink.
- Let to dry.
- Whilst drying, cut out zig-zag shaped grass from green cardboard paper.
- Once the small piece of cardboard paper has dried, cut out 2 pig ears.
- Stick them onto the dry paper plate with craft glue.
- Use craft glue to stick on the googly eyes.
- Use the original pink paint (which should be much darker) to paint in an oval nose and mouth on the pig.
- Once that is dry, paint two circles on the nose for the nostrils.
- Use Bostik to glue the ice-cream stick to the back of the paper plate and the back of the grass pattern to join the two together.

Method:
- Paint 3 cow patterned "spots" onto the edge of the paper plates with black paint.
- Use the black paint to paint an oval in the middle of the paper plate as a nose and paint on a mouth.
- Cut out 2 cow ears and 2 cow horns from the A4 cardboard.
- Paint the ears black and let dry.
- Whilst drying, cut out zig-zag shaped grass from green cardboard paper.
- Stick the ears onto the side of the now dry paper plate with craft glue.
- Stick the horns on the top of the paper plate.
- Use craft glue to stick on the googly eyes.
- Once that is dry, paint two circles on the nose for the nostrils.
- Use Bostik to glue the ice-cream stick to the back of the paper plate and the back of the grass pattern to join the two together.

- Paint the paper plate red.

- Whilst drying, cut out zig-zag shaped grass from green cardboard paper.
- Trace the child's hand onto the red cardboard paper and cut it out.

- Use craft glue to stick on the googly eyes.
- Cut out a triangular beak shape from the orange felt and glue onto the paper plate with craft glue
- Use Bostik to glue the ice-cream stick to the back of the paper plate and the back of the grass pattern to join the two together.

Method:
- Paint the A4 piece of cardboard paper black.
- Whilst the paper is drying, glue cotton wool balls onto the paper plate. Make sure that there are no gaps.
- Whilst drying, cut out zig-zag shaped grass from green cardboard paper.
- Once the A4 of cardboard paper has dried, cut out 2 sheep ears and a triangular shaped head.
- Stick them on top of the cotton wool balls with white craft glue.
- Use craft glue to stick on the googly eyes to the now black paper.
- Use the pink paint to paint the tip of the sheep's face into a nose.
- Once that is dry, paint two black circles on the nose for the nostrils.
- Use Bostik to glue the ice-cream stick to the back of the paper plate and the back of the grass pattern to join the two together.

Method:
- Paint the paper plate yellow and leave to dry.
- Whilst drying, trace your child's hands onto the yellow cardboard to make the chick's wings and cut them out.
- Once the plate has dried, use orange paint to paint on a beak.
- Use craft glue to stick on the googly eyes and to stick the hand prints onto the front of either side of the chick.
